The New York Daily News reports that the Yankees are getting ready to introduce free agent catch Mark Teixeira. It mentions that a press conference could come as early as this Tuesday. Teixeira will have to pass a physical before any deal is announced.
The Yankees and Mark Teixeira agreed to an 8-year, $180 million dollar contract two days prior to Christmas. The Yankees front office has been closed this past week.
